Mary Lee Conicella is Aetna’s Chief Dental Officer and oversees dental clinical initiatives and policies, with a focus on driving member engagement and improving health outcomes. He’s authored or co-authored studies in leading journals such as Health Affairs, the American Journal of Managed Care, and Health Services Research, led or co-led four foundation projects, and has been quoted in leading media including the New York Times, Washington Post, and NPR.org. Mike holds a master’s degrees in Public Policy and Administration from Northern Illinois University, and History from Rutgers University. Before that, he oversaw Medicare Advantage plan contracting and market conduct, including supplemental dental benefits. Adelberg was responsible for establishing the Affordable Care Act policy for pediatric dental coverage and stand-alone dental plans. Before joining Faegre Drinker Consulting, Mike held several senior positions within the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Programming includes in-depth preconference institutes on Monday and Tuesday of conference week, an opening keynote address, over 100 concurrent sessions, networking receptions and activities throughout the week, an Exhibit Hall featuring the most recent technologies and agency representatives, and two poster sessions. Presenters and participants come from diverse fields, including education, technology, law, scholarship, and government, but share a common interest in fostering equitable higher education experiences for disabled individuals.
